Rear Derailleur Issues
Issue: Charging light on but unable to connect, shifting or initial calibration failure

Issue Type 1 - Rear Derailleur Connection Failure

  • The charging indicator light glows red while the device is charging;
  • After turning on Bluetooth and searching within the mobile App, no shifting device can be detected on the page;
  • No blue status light lights up on the derailleur itself. This blue light is the operation indicator, which is different from the red charging light.

    If your device shows any combination of the above symptoms,Please follow the operation steps in the video to self-check and resolve the issue.

 

Issue Type 2 - Rear Derailleur Fails to Shift

  • Rear derailleur battery level displays normally, App connects to the device smoothly
  • When shifting via App, the signal light on rear derailleur lights up
  • However, the rear derailleur does not operate
  • No response after clicking buttons in initial calibration page, refer to the video to perform initial calibration
Please refer to the video. If shifting still fails after following the above steps, the rear derailleur is faulty.

Front Derailleur Issues
Issue: Device pairs successfully on App; front derailleur light lights up during calibration but won’t move

Issue Type - Front Derailleur Fails to Shift

  • Confirm successful device pairing. Please refer to the video to pair it again.
  • Battery levels of both front and rear derailleurs are displayed normally
  • The front derailleur indicator light turns on when shifting via App
  • Nevertheless, the front derailleur does not function
  • Buttons do not respond when entering initial calibration; please watch the video to perform the initial calibration.
Hand Shifter Issues
Issue: Shifter buttons are unresponsive, or the WHEELTOP App connects normally but the shifters cannot control the rear derailleur.

Issue Type 1- Hand Shifter Button Malfunction

  • The rear derailleur can be shifted normally through the App
  • Both buttons of the hand shifter only shift the rear derailleur in one single direction
  • No light lights up on the hand shifter after pressing the small button
  • The small button is confirmed faulty

 

Issue Type 2- Hand Shifter Hardware Failure

  • Please follow the reference video to reconnect the rear derailleur with the magnetic charging cable, re-pair the system, and confirm that the shifters are successfully connected in the WHEELTOP App.
  • Use the WHEELTOP App to shift the rear derailleur. Please refer to the video below for the detailed procedure.
  • Then try shifting with the shifters and confirm that the rear derailleur does not respond.
